Do you need help planning your World War II trip?
With all the things you need to consider when planning a trip—hotels, transportation, activities, tours, etc.—travel can quickly become overwhelming. If you’re feeling intimidated by the ocean of information out there or simply don’t have the time to plan a detailed trip on your own, I’m here to help!
Custom Itinerary Planning from Destination: WWII
Stop wasting time on resources that don’t answer your specific questions or cater to your unique travel needs and wants. Instead, I will work with you directly to create a custom, detailed daily itinerary and destination guide for your specific trip so you don’t have to.

A little about me
Hi, I’m Ashley—a World War II historian, travel expert, and tour guide (among other things) who has visited 30 countries on 4 continents. I specialize in travel throughout Europe and the Americas with a focus on World War II museums, memorials, battlefields, ruins, and other sites of interest. (But I regularly plan trips of all kinds—epic hiking adventures, urban exploration, cultural festivals, and just plain ol’ touristing around.)
I hold a master’s degree in World War II Studies from Arizona State University as a result of their unique partnership with the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Combining my two loves, I read, write, and research extensively on both World War II and travel topics. I spend a significant amount of time each year in Germany (mostly) with France and Italy close behind.
I am the tour manager and lead tour guide for an international tour company where I help plan and execute unforgettable trips for hundreds of travelers each year. I am extremely detail oriented and enthusiastic about travel planning—so much so that I’ve been known to plan some of my own trips down to the minute.
